EMAIL When you registered for neighbourhood Alert, you provided your email address but not a phone number.  If you change your email address and don’t remember to update your details, you will no longer receive the important messages that you signed up for and we won’t be able to contact you. So please update your account (log in through www.nottswatch.co.uk) by using the edit function. If you are unable to do this, please use the reply option below to provide your phone number.

Suggestions for preventative action include:

Survey tool to receive info: This isn’t making use of the survey tool, but a recipient list could be made, and a survey sent to those users with only one contact method (do not require enhanced survey tool to do this).

The survey tool does not have the functionality to update users contact details so this would have to manually be done once the survey results are in.

Footer to encourage users to update their account/provide this: Notts Police need to take any actions relating to accounts signed up to via NottsAlert (which is the vast majority of cases). VISAV can only take action with accounts signed up to via NottsWatch/satellite websites. VISAV have added a footer to the latter:

Enforce alternative means of contact: VISAV to discuss with Notts Police Comms to jointly move forward with this.
